Support Services

Whilst we’re best known for our quality food service, equally important at the Centre is our broad programme of additional services, available to all our guests seeking emotional, physical and practical help. We offer a unique programme of creative and meaningful group activities, as well as specialist outreach advice on a range of issues such as housing, alcohol & substance abuse, and benefits claims.

 

Currently available to guests:

 

Glass Door coordinates the UK’s largest network of open-access services for people affected by homelessness. Their services are open to all, providing safe access to sleep, advice and daytime services for those with nowhere else to turn. They offer support for:

  • accessing accommodation

  • accessing other specialist services such as drug, alcohol and mental health services.

  • obtaining birth certificates and other forms of lost or stolen ID

  • opening bank accounts when possible

  • registering with a GP and dental services

  • dealing with benefit issues

  • understanding your legal rights around your immigration status

Glass Door caseworkers are available drop-in 12PM-3PM Tuesday-Friday.

 

Do you live in Kensington & Chelsea and are you aged 55 or over? Are you worried about affording to buy food or paying your fuel bills? Age UK Kensington & Chelsea offers a free and confidential information and advice service for older people, their families and carers. They can assist you with health & disabilities, grant applications, advice to carers, accessible transport, housing and utility debt & switching.

Age UK Information & Advice is available drop-in 11AM - 2PM every Monday


Age UK Lunch Club is a great way for older people to be more social and have fun whilst enjoying a delicious meal in our dining hall. Meeting new people and feeling regular companionship can help you combat loneliness and isolation.

Age UK Lunch Club runs 12.30PM - 1.30PM every Tuesday.

 
 

Turning Point offers services to anyone struggling with alcohol or substance misuse. They offer you or a loved one a range of services depending on what you need, from detox and residential rehab to supported living and aftercare support.

Turning Point caseworkers are available drop-in 12PM-3PM every Tuesday
