The gesture of sitting down to a meal and breaking bread together is the first step toward rebuilding dignity and creating community.
Our dining service offers a delicious meal at communal tables that works to reduce isolation and enhance wellbeing.
Millions of tonnes of food get wasted by the UK each year. Meanwhile, many on a low-income go hungry. Find out how we are fighting food waste and food poverty.
On June 17th to celebrate World Refugee Day, the award winning Refugee Food Festival will come to Refettorio Felix at St. Cuthbert's Centre. Chineze from Nigeria will be cooking a three course ticketed feast after having cooked lunch for our guests the same meal in the beginning of June.
Over the past month, Refettorio Felix has been enlivened with the energy of two fantastic young women: Jana Tauschinski and Silvia Bus who have made us the final stop of their wildly exciting European food podcasting adventure: "The Travelling Foodcast."
On Tuesday, June 4th, artists, art lovers and guests will gather to celebrate the work of our Monday art workshop. Simonetta Wenkert and Camilla Marriott have led our guests in making accordion books that share their life stories; join us to see the artists' work and maybe take a print home!
We build relationships based on shared values and respect. Find our more about our sponsorship opportunities - there’s not a moment to waste
