Volunteer

We are always on the lookout for volunteers who want to make a difference in their local community.

We need help with our lunch service from Monday to Friday involving setting up, serving food, clearing plates as well as those with cooking experience to help in the kitchen. Ideally, we would like volunteers who can commit time on a regular basis, be it every week or once a month. We also welcome volunteers with other skills, from digital design to social media support.
If you are interested, please fill in an application form and send it to volunteers@stcuthbertscentre.org.uk explaining your availability and relevant skills.

I love volunteering at the Refettorio Felix - it has an amazing caring atmosphere and there's a lot of smiles and laughter. I always leave after service feeling that I've helped make somebody's day better in some small way!

Corporate Volunteering

Volunteering at Refettorio Felix is a great way to motivate and engage teammates around a social cause, where teams can demonstrate their commitment to creating positive change and see the direct impact of their work. We can host up to five colleagues at a time, offering them an induction and training before service begins. After, each team is invited to sit down and enjoy a lunch cooked by our chefs. We ask for companies to make a donation to cover our administration costs for organising these corporate days and ensuring a member of staff is on-site during their session.

We are looking for both marketing and admin interns to assist us with daily operations. This would be an unpaid position for 2-5 days per week for a minimum of 2 months. We offer a free lunch and the opportunity to get experience in many different parts of a small but impactful charity.

If interested, please send your CV and a short application explaining your interest and relevant experience to volunteers@stcuthbertscentre.org.uk
