Raw Peanut Chocolate Slice by Clio

In need of a healthy and sweet treat? Clio dreamt up these no-bake, vegan, gluten-free bars to give our guests that last healthy push to a bouncy spring step.

Easy to make, and easier to eat; these bars are magic!

Clio was inspired by guest chefs Caiger and Co. You can easily make these treats at home; watch how any challenges your day may hold become a little easier.

175 grams pitted chopped dates

250 grams of natural peanut butter

90 grams of rolled oats (GF)

200 grams dark chocolate (Vegan)

Optional: You can mix in nuts, dried fruits or seeds as suits your fancy- whatever is on hand!

  1. Put the first three ingredients together in a blender and blend into a paste.
  2. Spread the mixture into a baking tray until even.
  3. Melt the chocolate over a bain-marie, stirring regularly (A boiling pot of water with a bowl on top)
  4. Pour the melted chocolate over the bars.
  5. Let harden for at least 1 hour.

Take the best of the ingredients from every stage of its lifespan. That’s what the real beauty is: to make something valuable out of something that might be seen as not having any value at all.
