The much anticipated dates for this year’s series of Season’s Surplus suppers are now revealed, so grab your diary and pick a date to join us for a fantastic evening of artfully created dishes, delicious wines and food-related fun in the stunning setting of Ilse Crawford’s beautifully refurbished dining hall whilst raising funds that go straight towards the work carried out by the centre.
In April 2019, what started out as an idea for a Summer Ball grew into a regular, intimate supper club series in support of Refettorio Felix, curated by Michelin-starred chef Brett Graham from The Ledbury. Each quarter he and four equally talented chefs create a feast inspired by both the season’s best and the fact that ⅓ of edible food in London is thrown away. Each chef creates a course that is carefully paired with wines from key supporters Liberty Wines and the evening draws to its exciting conclusion with the roller-coaster that is the food-related auction led by Earl’s Court’s very own Singing Estate Agent Toby Brown, a performance to behold!
Over the past year Chef Brett has been joined by the likes of Sally Abe, Ben Marks, Phil Howard, Neil Campbell, Kostas Papathanasiou and Adam Byatt. Each chef has taken over a course and created their dish from food that would otherwise be destined for landfill.
A donation of £150, going entirely to the continued operations of Refettorio Felix, will secure you a place at the table to enjoy a 5-course dinner, champagne and wine pairings, a live auction and seasonal entertainment. So join us for a truly memorable evening and raise money for a truly remarkable charity.
