Refettorio Felix at St Cuthbert’s

Volunteering

We are always on the lookout for volunteers who want to get involved and make a difference in the local community. We need people to help with our daily lunch service from Monday to Friday, setting up, serving food, clearing plates and tidying away as well as those with cooking experience to help in the kitchen. Ideally, we would like volunteers who can commit time on a regular basis, be it every week to once a month.

If you are interested, please fill in an application form and send it to us explaining any relevant skills and why you’re interested in the role.

Corporate volunteering

Want to volunteer with your team mates to engage, and have the opportunity to help and support some vulnerable individuals?

We can host up to five colleagues at a time, offering them an induction and training before service begins. After, each team is invited to sit down and enjoy a lunch cooked by our chefs.

We ask for companies to make a donation to cover our administration costs for organising these corporate days and ensuring a member of staff is on-site during their session.

Become an apprentice!

We are looking for both events and marketing apprentices to assist us with daily operations. This would be an unpaid position for 2-5 days per week for a minimum of 2 months. We offer a free lunch and the opportunity to get experience in many different parts of a small but impactful charity.

If interested, please send your CV and an application explaining relevant experience to volunteers@stcuthbertscentre.org.uk
